Pharma Bureau and HDAP have donated coronavirus safety kits to DRAP to minimize the impact of coronavirus in Pakistan. Representatives of Pharma Bureau, the representative body of research based multinational pharmaceutical companies in Pakistan, and Healthcare Medical Devices Association of Pakistan (HDAP) handed over the kits to Chief Executive Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) Dr. Asim Rauf and Director MD&MC Dr. Ghazanfar. These 500 donation kits include tyvek, gowns, masks, gloves, etc. In addition to the kits, 2000 face masks and 2500 gloves were also handed over to DRAP which were immediately dispatched to the National Institute of Health. “Pharma Bureau extends its full support to DRAP and the Ministry of National Health Services to limit the coronavirus impact on citizens of Pakistan,” said Ayesha Tammy Haq, Executive Director, Pharma Bureau. “There is a global shortage of safety clothing to prevent healthcare professionals from catching the virus. All of our members are aware of the situation and we are doing whatever we can to arrange more safety kits and give to DRAP and the Ministry if needed,” She added.
