LAHORE: The institute of Economics and Peace has released the global terrorism index, stating Pakistan as the 5th most affected country by terrorism.
The report unveiled the terrorist attacks happened in 2017. According to the report, 77 countries were stuck with terror attacks this year.
The report declared Iraq as the most affected country by terrorist activities. However, the total number of causalities as the result of terrorist attacks reduced by 22 percent in 2017, as compared to the previous years.
The rank of Pakistan was improved as Pakistan was excluded from the list of 20 most dangerous countries regarding terrorism.
